UNITED STATES TREASURER MARY ELLEN WITHROW (RET) JOINS WORLD RESERVE MONETARY EXCHANGE

Canton, OH (June 2010) 40th Treasurer of the United States, Mary Ellen Withrow (ret), has been retained as advisor and spokesperson for the privately held World Reserve Monetary Exchange, Inc., the largest private buyer of United States coin and currency second only to the Federal Reserve, and based in Canton, Ohio.

Withrow is the only person in U.S. history to have served as a Local, State and Federal Treasurer. She served as Treasurer of Marion County, Treasurer of the State of Ohio and Treasurer of the United States of America. She also holds the distinction of having her name appear on over 67 billion notes of United States legal tender currency totaling more than $1.1 trillion in face value.

Ms. Withrow learned of the World Reserve Monetary Exchange when a close friend asked her to autograph a World Reserve Pennsylvania overlaid $2 bill as a keepsake. Mary Ellen didn't know where to get a World Reserve commemorative State $2 bill so she turned to her friend Thomas C. Harris, the former Deputy Director of the United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Withrow then discovered that Thomas was serving as a current advisor for the World Reserve Monetary Exchange which was distributing these commemorative State $2 bills throughout the United States.

Harris called Jeffrey S. Marsh, President of the World Reserve, and arranged a tour of the private vaults for Withrow. Soon thereafter, Withrow met with Mr. Marsh and World Reserve executives, and toured the massive vaults that hold a staggering amount of out-of-circulation U.S. coins and currency being held for World Reserve customers.

After the meeting and tour, Withrow was clearly amazed by the World Reserve. She stated, "I am impressed with the World Reserve as an organization and its innovativeness, quality of products and attention to caring for their Associates and their customers. You just don't seem to find very many companies like this anymore."

Withrow was so impressed that when the World Reserve requested she consider becoming an advisor to and spokesperson for, the World Reserve, she gladly accepted. Withrow said, "I'm thrilled to be working with and representing the World Reserve Monetary Exchange. I’m proud to be involved with such an exciting project surrounding the State $2 bills. It's such a wonderful concept; I wish I would have thought of it when I was overseeing the U.S. Mint and the Bureau of Engraving. I'm really looking forward to the many great projects ahead of us and I’m excited to be part of the World Reserve’s culture of excellence."

According to Marsh, "Mary Ellen Withrow is an important addition to the World Reserve’s team of experts. She joins Chief Advisor, Thomas C. Harris, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, retired, as we continue assembling world-class talent to expand the World Reserve Monetary Exchange to new levels."

Withrow will begin serving as an advisor and spokesperson immediately for the World Reserve, a division of Arthur Middleton Capital Holdings based in Canton, Ohio with additional offices in Miami Beach, Florida.

During her term as U.S. Treasurer, Withrow ushered in the U.S. Mint's 50 State Quarter Program, authorized the issuance of Sacagawea dollars, and oversaw the complete redesign of U.S. currency with new $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 bills.

"Having the Wellness Center on-site is fantastic," she said. "I knew it was important to get my metabolism going and to lay off of both alcoholic beverages and diet soda. I made big changes to both my eating habits and my workout routine. I eat every three hours and really pay attention to portion size.
